No job too small, able to work to suit your budget and timeframe.
I see my design approach like alchemy; blending and selecting materials to suit the context or place, function or theme resulting in innovative design and spatial solutions – striving to be a memorable experience for the users.
Applying a thorough understanding of material qualities allow me to select functionally and to reinforce philosophical narrative underlining my work.
My awareness and experience of techniques and processes allow me to craft by hand or deploy suitable industrial manufacturing processes.
Work experience at David Harber and a sculpture commission at the Bernie Grants Arts
centre were insightful and gave me an opportunity to work in a creative commercial
and community setting.
Berkshire College of Agriculture have selected a range of courses I have developed for
their part time creative studies programme, taking place from 7-9.30pm during Winter and Spring 2013, with a selection of Saturday workshops, book on http://www.bca.ac.uk
I am actively generating expression of interests for residences and commissions, anticipating, progressing from finalist to receiving the assignment.
